Below we share our current SS16 collection, and the inspirations behind it.
This collection focusses on beautiful summery mints and teals, with a touch of blush. Sian Elin loves to fuse Eastern influenced designs with Western influenced graphic shapes and design movements. So it was very fitting to use inspirations from Portugal, Spain, and India.
This image below is of Portuguese tiles or azulejos – which were heavily influenced by Arabic and Spanish Islamic and Morrish designs. You can see how we took inspiration from the green tiles for our Norsk design shown in the curtains below. Norsk is a more graphic representation, with a mid-century Scandinavian feel, in fresh tones of Mint.
The pinky shades found in India, Spain, and Portugal influenced our blush palette, as seen in the Large Rosette Lampshade.
